Contact
One editor, one inbox. Corrections get read first.
Hiddencorners is a one-person publication, so there is one address rather than a wall of departments that all land in the same place. Put the topic in the subject line and it will get to the right part of my brain.
What to put in the subject line
- Correction — you have been somewhere we cover and we have it wrong. This is the most useful message you can send. Include the page and the sentence. See the corrections policy.
- Tip — a place that would score high on the Silence Index: hard to reach, genuinely unresolved, genuinely quiet. If publicity would harm it, say so and we will not publish it.
- Editorial — anything about how the journal is researched, sourced or written.
- Privacy — data access, correction or deletion requests. See the privacy policy.
- Advertising — no advertising is running on this site yet. When that changes, the disclosure page will be updated first.
Response
This is not a company with a support desk and I am not going to promise you a service level I cannot keep. Corrections are read first and acted on quickly. Everything else gets read when it gets read.
No contact form, deliberately
There is no contact form on this page. A form that is not wired to a working backend is worse than no form at all — it silently swallows messages and lets a site pretend to be more established than it is. When there is a form here, it will work.
